Lay and Registrant Council Members
We are looking for four Council members to support us as we move through the recovery phase to stabilise and rebuild:
- 2 x Registrant members: two professionals currently on our register who have extensive experience of operating at Board level and are professionally capable with required experience, knowledge, skills and independence to enable them to perform the duties effectively.
- 2 x Lay Members: two lay people who have extensive experience of operating at Board level and demonstrate a mix of governance expertise, strategic vision, and specialised competencies for undertaking a Trustee role.
Independent Members
Additionally, we are looking for two high calibre, talented Independent Members to serve on the Planning and Performance and Finance and Resource Committee.
These committees play a crucial role at the NMC. The scrutiny and challenge they provide is critical to the delivery of our strategic aims and will play a key role in assurances on the implementation of the recommendations from the 2024 Independent Culture Review.
