Qualifications

We are keen to receive applications from candidates from a diverse range of personal and professional backgrounds.

You should be able to demonstrate a good level of professional expertise and knowledge within Finance (Audit or Accountancy Qualification).

We would however welcome candidates with professional experience and knowledge of an area such as IT, Customer (Patient) Care, Legal, Voluntary Sector or Care Services.

Eligibility

  • Eligible to be a member of a public constituency of the Trust, whilst we have an out of area public constituency we would prefer for the person to reside within one of our Sussex constituencies.
  • Meet the independence criteria for Non-Executive Directors and meet the Fit and Proper Persons Requirement as defined in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulation of Regulated Activities) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
  • Not disbarred from membership of the Board of Directors under any of the disqualification criteria listed below
  • Sufficient time available to fulfil the requirements of the post
