Welcome from the Joint CEO
Thank you for your interest in our exciting roles for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – one of the largest group models in the NHS with a budget of circa £1.2 billion. Our services include acute, tertiary and community.
Our Chief Strategy Officer will be expected to represent and advocate for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (The Group) at a range of local, regional, and national forums. The role will involve working collaboratively across organisational and professional services to deliver the shared ambitions and the objectives of The Group to improve care, outcomes and use of resources.
We have high ambitions and are committed to delivering more together for the populations we serve. In the spirit of greater collaboration, the two trusts have taken the decision to move to a Group model with the appointment of a Group Executive Team. We are therefore seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, and high calibre individual who will be responsible for the strategic leadership of both organisations, to help us deliver our shared ambitions. The successful candidate will be politically astute and an exceptional communicator and this will be demonstrated through a track record of building trusted relationships.
Our Head of Charities will be pivotal in providing strategic leadership and management of South Tees Hospitals’ ‘Our Hospitals Charity’. Our aim of the charity is to assist South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust by providing additional resources to aid continual improvement in clinical performance and patient and staff experience in line with the Trust’s strategic aims and objectives. The post holder will undertake research, develop and implement innovative ideas and education to support the charities strategic direction.
Both opportunities require exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for leaders who will help shape our ultimate vision and deliver long-term benefits for our patients.
These are excellent opportunities for the right candidates, with the right experience and who shares our values and passion for the highest quality clinical care.
If you would like to have a confidential discussion and hear more about this opportunity, please contact Brendan Davies at our recruitment partners, Hunter Healthcare by email: [email protected] or phone: 07585 356985.
We look forward to hearing from you.
