Job overview
The Design and Construction Director will be responsible for leading the creation of the new Frimley Park Hospital and associated developments across the Trust’s estate which will be designed to deliver a clinically led, digitally driven model of care to the Trust’s patients and the community.
The opportunity
It is an exciting time to join the Trust as it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved in a New Hospital Programme. The postholder will be involved in the designing and the building of a brand new Frimley Park Hospital, which will be state of the art in terms of its design and how patients are treated or receive care for future generations to come. Digital innovation will be a key component in terms of design and care delivery.
The person
- Educated to master’s level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
- Prince2/ Project Management / MSP experience.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body (RICS, IStructE, ICE, IEE, IMechE, RIBA, etc).
- Extensive Experience of managing complex and high value projects, preferably major NHS schemes.
