Vision, values and five year strategy
Itās important that as an organisation we plan for the future, including our role within the wider health and care system and beyond.
The Trustās strategy document sets outĀ the direction of the Trust for the next five years. It defines who we are, what our priorities are, the outcomes they will deliver and when they will be delivered.Ā It will inform everything from significant service level decisions through to individual objectives for staff with a view to delivering improved outcomes for our patients and service users.
The strategy details the ways in which we will improve the delivery and quality of care, support our workforce and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
We know that our staff come to work to āMake a Differenceā, so our Vision for the next five years is to āmake a difference to the communities we serve by delivering the highest quality physical and mental health care to our patients, and by tackling inequalities in outcomes, experience and access.ā
To do this we all need to work together and to live and breathe our Trust values: Trust, Honesty, Respect, Compassion and Teamwork.
NHS People Promise
The NHS People Promise, is a promise we must all make to each other ā to work together to improve the experience of working in the NHS for everyone.
TheĀ NHS People Promise is a national programme, which was launched in 2020, toĀ raise the profile and importance of staff and the contribution they make. It sets out,Ā in the words of those who work in the NHS, the things that matter most to them andĀ what would most improve their working experience, such as health and wellbeingĀ support, flexible working and to feel we all belong.
