Welcome

Caroline DonovanThank you for your interest in working for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Together, our staff, service users, carers and partners create a culture of compassion and inclusivity, making LSCft a place where everyone can thrive and feel proud of their contribution to our success.

These roles are an excellent opportunity to support our organisation at an immensely exciting and challenging time.

We are an ambitious Trust seeking to set new standards for service delivery and care, working in partnership across the local health and social care system to break down barriers between physical and mental health and provide truly, integrated care, as locally as possible to the people who need them.

Our newly introduced ‘locality management and clinical service delivery model’ and our leadership of the provider collaborative for mental health, learning disability and autism services are both significant vehicles for the acceleration of integration. We believe this is the best way to harness the skills and talents within our own workforce and that of our partners to influence and achieve better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.

We know that diverse teams make our organisation better and we want to make our leadership more reflective of our community and support us to champion inclusion, equality and diversity to improve people’s health and their experience of our Trust and our services. LSCft actively encourages applications from ethnic minority  communities and individuals with protected characteristics who can evidence noticeable improvements in inclusion practices and addressing health inequity.

We are committed to continuously developing our compassionate and inclusive workforce ensuring they are equipped to identify and meet the varied needs of our population and drive improvement in innovation, performance, and success.

We believe we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to develop services for the people of Lancashire, South Cumbria and beyond so they continue to benefit from the highest quality care for decades to come.

We have put this microsite together to help you learn more about LSCft, our services, our plans for the future, the role available and the opportunity it provides to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country that is home to some of the friendliest people in the world. Your prospective colleagues are leaders in their field and share your commitment, compassion and professionalism.

If you think you’re the ideal candidate to help drive our mission, please review the information in this recruitment pack and contact Finn McNulty or David Godfrey at Hunter Healthcare (see how to apply) if you wish to learn more.
