The Director of Estates & Facilities will lead the delivery of all strategic and operational Estates & Facilities functions to the Trust and work in partnership with PFI contractor organisations.

The post holder will take corporate responsibility for the development and implementation of the Trust’s Estates & Facilities, providing advice on all property services matters to the Executive Leadership to deliver a high-quality service in line with North West Anglia’s strategic direction, vison and values.

The post will be expected to manage a number of PFI contracts either directly or through other organisations:

• to support the best use of staff accommodation
• to ensure a robust medical equipment replacement process is in place
• to support the RAAC team at a regional and national level and
• to obtain value for money for all use of the estates service.

At all times the post will be expected to ensure that we provide a service that is safe and comfortable for patients and staff and is compliant with statutory guidance

The Director of Estates role is Band 9 up to £108,075 plus a retention allowance of £8k. An additional market payment may be available for the right candidate by agreement with the COO and the CPO. There will also be payment for on-call responsibilities.
